Getting Started

Getting started is easy! The first thing you want to do is set up your account. When you first log in, there will be three important boxes to complete:

  • Setup a Beginning Balance
  • Setup Categories
  • Add new transactions

Getting started can seem overwhelming, but don’t worry! It’s really easy! After setting up your account and logging in, you’ll be taken to your CashVue home page, or dashboard.

Setting Up Your CashVue Account

Setting up a CashVue account is quick and easy! From the CashVue home page, click one of the two Sign Up buttons. A sign up form will open. Enter your full name, work email address, a name for your CashVue account...

Your account comes with categories already set up, but you can easily edit or view them. To access your categories:

  1. From your main menu, click on Categories under Settings
  2. Here you can view all your categories.

Runway Report

The runway chart displays past and projected cash balances on a specific time basis. The cash balances are illustrated in a line graph and cash-ins and cash-outs are reflected in bar graphs.
